In 2011 we felt the days of people attending Church every week were fading and we needed to come up with new forms of worship that would appeal to different people. The second Sunday of the month was designated Kid’s Church. The biggest difference was the Kid’s took part in the service and they STAYED in the Church while the adults went out to the back room for adult discussion. This was a reverse of what normally happened and was intended to show that kid’s were important. Coffee was served before and after the service which started at 9.15am to enable people to mix before Church.
WHAT WE ACHIEVED: Although some of the regular congregation do not come to this service, younger families and their children have come once a month. Most of the congregation have accepted this service as part of our regular worship cycle. The first Sunday is Communion, third Sunday is Traditional and 4th Sunday is Contempory
